Mac Installers

There are three setup files that need to be installed on the computer on which you will be making PDF's. They are:

  • Prinergy Refiner - Print driver necessary for writing proper PostScript files.
  • Creo Distiller Assistant - Distiller startup file that ensures that PDF's are created properly.
  • DSC Distiller.joboptions - These are Distiller settings customized to your workflow.

Installers
To install:
  1. Download Installer package from list above. If you are unsure which to download contact your Technical Service Representative
  2. Un-compress zip file by by double clicking on it.
  3. Run the installer by double clicking on it.
  4. Follow the instructions and install these files on your system primary hard drive
Manual Install Elements
  • Prinergy Refiner
    • Place in: Boot Drive Root/Library/Printers/PPDs/en.lproj/
  • Creo Distiller Assistant
    • For Distiller 8 Place in: Boot Drive Root/Library/Application Support/Adobe/Adobe PDF/Distiller/Startup/
    • For Distiller 7 Place in: Boot Drive Root/Library/Application Support/Adobe PDF/Startup/
    • For Distiller 6 Place in: Boot Drive Root/Users/Shared/Adobe PDF 6.0/Startup/
  • Distiller 8 Basic Job Options
    • Place in: Boot Drive Root/Library/Application Support/Adobe/Adobe PDF/Settings/
    • Alternate Location: Boot Drive Root/Users/Username/Library/Application Support/Adobe/Adobe PDF/Settings
  • Distiller 8 Ad Managment Job Options
    • Place in: Boot Drive Root/Library/Application Support/Adobe/Adobe PDF/Settings/
    • Alternate Location: Boot Drive Root/Users/Username/Library/Application Support/Adobe/Adobe PDF/Settings
  • Distiller 7 Basic Job Options
    • Place in: Boot Drive Root/Library/Application Support/Adobe PDF/Settings/
  • Distiller 7 Ad Managment Job Options
    • Place in: Boot Drive Root/Library/Application Support/Adobe PDF/Settings/
  • Distiller 6 Basic Job Options
